Behavioral and Mental Health

Millions of Americans experience behavioral and mental health problems. The Research & Evaluation Group at PHMC is committed to exploring the underlying and intersecting factors related to behavioral and mental health as well as identifying the best practices for prevention and treatment. Our team has conducted evaluations of substance abuse treatment and recovery programs and integrated behavioral and primary healthcare programs. Our experience ranges from assessing client outcomes related to drug and alcohol use to evaluating provider and clinician training programs to improve behavioral health outcomes.

Some of our past and current funders include the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA)Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD), Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), and the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA)
